Team Bonzi How To's and Helpful Hints

Signing In:

So you have received an invite (via email) to join your child's team in Bonzi. That email contains a link to the team page. There are two different scenarios that can occur at this point.

Already have Username and Password - When you click on the link in the email you will be taken to a login screen where you will be asked for your username (email used to register your player) and password (this was created when you registered your player). With a small amount of luck, and if you actually remembered what your user name and password was you are now successfully in BonziTeam, looking at your player's schedule and marking availability on the Attendance tab.

I don't have a Username and Password - So…. What if you weren't the parent or guardian that initially registered your son or daughter with the league? In that case, you probably don't have a username and password. (Unless you are using BonziTeam for another organization).

What I have found to be the most successful in signing up for a team in this scenario is to take the following steps:

1. Go to bonziteam.com
2. At the top of the screen (the part that is circled in red) there is a menu item that asks the question, "Got An Invite?". When you click on that, you will have the option to manually enter your invite code and click 'Join the Team'.
3. Create a New Account - If you don't already have an account you will need to create one. So before clicking on 'Got An Invite?' you can click on Create a New Account to create your Bonzi Account. Note: Before creating a new account make sure that you are using email and passwords that you might be using in other sports. There are other sports leagues in the area that use BonziTeam as well. If you log in with the same email address, you will be able to view a multi-team/multi-sport calendar all in one place.
4. Once your account is created go back to step 2 and enter invite code.

At this point you should now be in BonziTeam!

Now that you are in…

Once you are in BonziTeam I want to call a few things to your attention:

Your Profile

On the menu bar at the top of the page, you should see your name. When you click on your name you will get a drop-down menu that should look something like the following:

1. Create Or Join a New Team - If you already have a child in the league on another team, you can use this to join that other team. OR, let's say you are playing in a soccer league that uses Bonzi, you can join that team from here as well.
2. MultiTeam Dashboard - helpful if you have more than one child in the league, in different divisions.
3. MultiTeam Calendar - same as #2, but this overlays multiple team calendars in one view.
4. Family Management - Shows all the Family members associated with the account and any other teams they may be associated with.
5. My Teams - This will show the currently active teams that you have access to. From here you can click one of those teams to go to that particular dashboard.

Another Way to Access Your Account

There is another way to access your Bonzi Account. On the www.olabaseball.com site there is a link in the upper left side of the screen, just above the menu bar.

From here you the ability to perform a number of tasks related to your Bonzi Account. Including 'Add A Family Member'. This allows you to add additional custodial guardians, grandparents or family friends to view the BonziTeam page.

This page will also show if you have any outstanding Account Balances and allow you to pay them from here. Though our Treasurer has probably already sent you a notice if you do have a balance! J

Next year, you will be able to come back to this page and click on 'Register Now' to start this process all over again, but next time all of your information will be here waiting for you!
